"Mouse Event" Feature

Tutorial: How to Use the "Mouse Event" Feature in VSD Stream Dock

 

About Mouse Events, you can use this function to control the mouse, including:
- Moving the mouse to a specific location
- Performing actions (left-click, double-click, etc.) at the target position
- Dragging a file from one location to another (on the same desktop)
- Controlling mouse wheel scrolling (up or down)

To use these features, you first need to know the X and Y coordinates of the target position on your desktop. This information is located at the bottom of the mouse function's detailed settings and may be hidden - please scroll down to view it.

Step-by-Step Operation Guide:


1>>. Add a Mouse Event.
2>>. Click this function button in VSD Craft, and a detailed settings panel will appear below.

 


3>>. Locate the drop-down menu in the panel - this displays the real-time X/Y coordinates of your current mouse position.

4>>. As you move the mouse, the real-time coordinates will update accordingly.
5>>. Move the mouse to your desired operation position and record the coordinates (e.g., (807,822)).
6>>. In the "Event" dropdown menu, select the desired mouse action (left-click, double-click, etc.).
7>>. Enter the recorded X and Y coordinates.
8>>. Click the function button again to execute the operation after setup.

Example 1: One-click Folder Closure


Move your mouse to the close button of the target folder.
Record the coordinates of this position and enter them in the settings.
Select the "Left-click" action.
After configuration, click the function button to close the folder with one click.


Example 2: One-click File Drag-and-Drop (from One Location to Another)


Move your mouse to the source file location and record its coordinates (e.g., (1,1)).
Move your mouse to the target location and record its coordinates (e.g., (2,2)).
Select the "Drag and Drop with Mouse" action in the settings.
After configuration, click the function button to execute the drag-and-drop operation with one click.

 


Example 3: One-click Mouse Wheel Scrolling


Move your mouse to the scroll bar position of the target window.
Set the scroll amount (adjust to a suitable value based on your needs):
A positive number = Upward scrolling.
A negative number = Downward scrolling.
After configuration, click the function button to trigger the scrolling action with one click.
