Troubleshooting Device Disconnection Issues

Troubleshooting Device Disconnection Issues

When "VSD Craft" displays "Device Not Connected," it is generally caused by one of the following four scenarios. Please refer to the instructions below:

1. The USB C port is not plugged in tightly.

2. The corresponding device is not selected in "VSD Craft."

3. Compatibility issues with certain devices may occur on individual AMD computers(low probability). Please check if your computer is equipped with an AMD processor. If so,please let we know, and we will provide device update steps to resolve the issue.

4. If none of the above three scenarios apply, please follow the steps below to query the device operation records and send the corresponding files to us. We will forward the device operation records to engineers for fault analysis and troubleshooting. (Click Settings >> General >> Open Application Folder >> logs >> select the most recent 1 to 3 .txt files.)

  1. The USB C port is not plugged in tightly.

This issue may cause the StreamDeck device to only power on without establishing data transmission. Symptoms include: RGB lights on, screen lit, but failure to connect to the "VSD Craft" software or function normally.

    Solution:
Check the USB C port. After plugging in, secure the USB cable with the device slot. Then verify whether the device is properly connected.

  2. Failing to Select the Corresponding Device in "VSD Craft" This issue may allow the StreamDeck device to execute commands, but the "VSD Craft" software cannot synchronize the display with the device screen. Solution: Open "VSD Craft" and check the Device panel at the lower left corner to ensure it matches your device model. If not, click the drop-down list in the Device panel and left-click to select the current device to complete software-device synchronization.
